Morton Cooper explains about three things you can do to change your voice,
which is all summed up in about three pages near the end. The rest of the
book is filled with personal stories of some of his clients, many who are
celebrities, and descriptions of the dangers of misusing your voice, and
his thoughts on social causes of vocal abuse and misunderstandings of how
to correctly use your voice |

Freeing the Natural Voice |
Reviewer.York
Reading this book has helped me break away from the bad habits used in
everyday speech in our society. It frees the body and soul along with the
voice. The only thing better than reading this book and using the
Linklater Technique is having Kristen teach you the technique herself. I
was lucky enough to have that experience years after I bought the book.

Set Your Voice Free |
Reviewer: Frank
Cavestani from Hollywood CA
Robert Love's book is excellent for actors. I like the fact that Love uses
singing techniques to teach better voice production and control. The
reason I am always leary of recommending any "voice production"
book is that I fear the aspiring or even working actors getting hung up on
"listening" to their voice. Although we all know a basic
knowledge of voice is necessary, it could be deadly to an actors craft if
they focus on voice production. However, we are putting a star next to
Robert Love's book and recommending it on our web site Home page at Acting
On The Web. This is a first! But "Set Your Voice Free" I feel
truly deserves this high praise and placement for it will help not hinder
actors in their craft. |
The 3-Dimensional Voice : A Fun & Easy... |
Reviewer:
R.Ballard
This book has a clear explination on all the parts of the body that are
involved in making the voice do exactly what you want and need for it to
do. I am a singer and have been studying my voice for years, but did not
understsnd the workings of the body in relationship to my own sounds until
now. Everyone who uses there voice for speeking or singing should read
this book. Although it is informative, it is also fun to read. The author
gives the information in a clear and fun way. The exercises are great and
easy to do and have helped me to improve.
